January - CLOSED; February 12, February 26; March 11, March 25; April 8, April 22; May 13, May 27; June 10, June 24; July 8, July 22; August 12, August 26; September 9, September 23; October 14, October 28; November 11, November 25; December 9 (Christmas Special) and December 23.Visitors are welcome to attend at any time during the performance. Please note that a demonstration of the theatre organs on every Sunday is not always possible. We also reserve the right to exclude any instrument from the Sunday performance at short notice for maintenance. Visits by organised groups can be arranged, evenings preferred except Tuesdays. Special reductions are available for any large party wishing to attend the Organ Theatre during the Sunday Opening, but only by prior arrangement. Admission charges include concession rates. No animals except guide dogs. Access for wheelchairs. Location of the Theatre is approx. 2 miles from St. Albans City Centre at 320 Camp Road, entrance adjacent to Camp School and a telephone box. Car parking available. For those with Sat-Nav, our postcode is AL1 5PE. Current admission prices are ~ Adult £5.00, Child £2.50, Family £12.00 and Senior Citizen £4.00. Exceptions to the Sunday openings are ~In adverse weather conditions if the Theatre driveway is either flooded or has frozen and becomes too slippery, and any Sunday that falls on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Commencing February 2012, the Organ Theatre will open to the public on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 2.15pm till 4.30pm during which time there is a live, continuous musical performance of the various instruments, given with a descriptive commentary. Doors open at 2pm.
